My Work
This introductory memo describes my work in the MTPC program at Auburn University. This memo discusses issues I identified in technical and professional communication as a discipline. These issues include the role of a technical communicator as a social justice practitioner, feminism, social justice, and issues of sexual assault and rape culture. I examine sexual violence and rape culture from a personal standpoint, as well as through the impact these phenomena have on society. This memo also provides a brief overview of the documents highlighted in my ePortfolio.
Proposal
The grant package was produced for ENGL 7070: Grant and Proposal Writing and shows my ability to focus on community needs through technical communication.
Revenge Porn Zine
The zine was produced for ENGL 7030: Public Policy and shows my ability to perform Do-It-Yourself (DIY) culture and ethics within the framework of social justice activism.
Informational Report
The informational report was produced for ENGL 7030: Public Policy and shows my ability to present information in an unbiased way while still performing social justice activism.
